It's been a while. Some recent goodies:
- The seven deadly sins of impact evaluation. And related: what's the difference between program evaluation and social science research? (via a comment on Chris Blattman's blog)
- NPR reports on disease sleuthing online (i.e., health surveillance in the internet era).
- For the Baltimore folks and the stats nerds, a Baltimore woman uncovers problems in her city water bills.
- Harold Pollack (writing at the Incidental Economist, an essential blog for health policy wonks) asks "What will consumers make of health insurance exchanges?"
- Think epidemiology - as a profession - would be better off if there were more epidemiologists in the public eye? If this is any indication, that might actually be a net negative.
